The finished dimensions are approximately 7.6 inches long, 5.1 inches wide, and 2.1 inches high. No glue or paint is required for assembly, though tweezers or similar tools are recommended. The Ford Trimotor, nicknamed the "Tin Goose," was the world's first luxury airliner when it first flew in the late 1920s. It featured an aluminum corrugated sheet-metal body and wings, powered by three 420-hp Pratt & Whitney Wasp radial engines, and was chosen by Admiral Byrd for his successful flight over the South Pole on November 28, 1929, due to its rugged dependability.
