Protection Technology The LCDI (Leakage Current Detection Interrupter) utilizes built-in shielded power conductors. Its input side is provided with NEMA WD6 plug, and load side is provided with a cord consisting of ungrounded conductor (L), grounded conductor (N) and grounding conductor which are surrounded by shields. It is intended to provide protection against the hazards or fire caused by the aging of the power cord or leakage current. Security Assurance If a leakage current less than 5mA between the shield wire and the Neutral or Hot wire is detected, the LCDI immediately trips to interrupt the flow of electricity within 0.5s.
