The BE200 adapters support 2x2 TX/RX streams, use 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, and the BE200 has a maximum speed of 5 Gbit/s, which is significantly below the maximum transfer rate supported by the standard. BE200 also support PCIe and USB interfaces and can be used for desktop motherboards and laptops. Known as 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7 promises up to 46Gbps theoretical throughput, making it 4.8x faster than Wi-Fi 6 and 13x faster than Wi-Fi 5, while maintaining compatibility with older Wi-Fi versions at lower speeds.
