It opens with floral notes of freesia and lily-of-the-valley, a hint of Italian mandarin giving it a tangy twist. More flowery aromas can be found at the heart where a strong tone of rose acts as the main scent, complimented by a bouquet of gardenia, heliotrope, Indian tuberose and ylang ylang. The base features notes of tonka bean, sandalwood and musk, finishing off with the robust scent.Oscar De La Renta was born in 1932 in the Dominican Republic and headed to the United States in 1963 after several years of experience working for fashion houses in Spain and France.
